BLANEY GRADUATE PROGRAMME
Our Graduate Programmes provide experiences for you. Some of these will build up your technical expertise and enable you to perform confidently. Others will prepare you for your career after the programme ends.
You’ll also take part in training to help you maximise your contribution within a team and gain insight into our business. From the start, we’ll provide you with support specifically tailored to your role. You’ll also be assigned a buddy from our existing graduates.
Our graduate programmes have been designed to build on your existing interests, skills and knowledge to develop individuals who are ready to take on global challenges with BLANEY.
BLANEY Graduates can expect to undertake a variety of real business assignments, across several parts of the business to establish a thorough understanding of BLANEY.
Our 24 month graduate programmes are individually tailored to focus on your interests and skills.
In addition to experiential training, BLANEY provides personal and technical training. Engineering graduates also benefit from machine operation workshops. Some programmes can include international placements.

We are proud of our graduate development scheme. Whether you are applying for an Engineering or Business position, you and your fellow graduates will all have your own personalised development plan and the opportunity to study for a relevant professional qualification to aquire chartered status.
Our Engineering graduate development scheme is inline with IMechE, and Engineering graduates receive support in achieving their accreditation.
Entry requirements:
- Minimum of a 2:1 in a relevant degree or Masters degree discipline
- Work experience is desirable though not essential

Graduate Sponsorship Scheme
Sponsored Engineering Graduate Schemes
Our sponsorship schemes for engineering students is worth over £50,000 per student. you must apply for this scheme before you start university (conditional offer based on your A-level or equivalent results).
We will be awarding sponsorship scheme to highly competent students that have an aptitude and genuine interest in engineering
Involves a two-way communication: you will join us every summer from A-LEVEL/BTEC until you graduate you’ll also join us for industrial placements too:
Immersing yourself in our world and taking real projects from teasing, initial design to production. Acquiring experience in our diverse operation, you could find yourself working in our specialist engineering fields.
Applications must be submitted before April in the year you start university. Evidence you have only applied for engineering courses is required.
